Your family probably has some kind of Thanksgiving tradition. Maybe it has to do with the food you eat or the games you play—whatever the case, you likely have holiday habits that are special to you and your family.
In an article titled Rekindling the Gratitude, John MacArthur describes one of his family’s Thanksgiving traditions:
Each year after our Thanksgiving meal we gather in our living room and simply recite the blessings of God that have touched our lives. One by one we circle the room, each one of us expressing our gratitude to God for His many physical and spiritual blessings.
In that same spirit of recognizing and gratefully celebrating God’s abundant blessings in our lives this past year, we want to express how thankful we are for you. It is a profound privilege to be part of the work here at Grace to You, helping reach so many with the life-transforming truth of God’s Word. We’re humbled to serve you, and blessed to be part of the work the Lord is doing through this ministry in so many lives.
We also want hear from you. In the comments below, please tell us what you’re thanking God for this year. Don’t feel the need to make it about Grace to You in particular—we just want to hear what the Lord has been doing in your life. Be as specific as you like, and don’t hesitate to comment more than once. We want to encourage one another and glorify God for all He is accomplishing.
